Today was really wet.

If you were coming out of town on Old Inverell road and went straight ahead at Dumaresq Rd this is what you would have seen. Fast flowing water at the 80cm mark. Paul would have dearly loved to have crossed but I would not have it. We had other peoples and our own precious children in the car.

 So we turned around and continued the regular way home and this is the (usually very little) creek that flows under the Dumaresq Rd bridge.

 This is Mundays Lane. Our lane is about 200m up on the right. We have never seen this much water.

Primrose Hill Rd. The water marker had almost disappeared. That's the dirt road on the other side.

These photos were taken at the peek when the sun had finally broken through after days of rain.

Town looked simular but Paul was not in the mood for stopping so I could take pictures. The water came up to the stairs of the Movie theatre. and made a Lake of our usual trickling creek.

Driving through all the water until you couldn't see out the windscreen because you were engulfed in it.
