Off the back of a pretty ordinary Tuesday - Wednesday came. By ordinary, I mean being publicly (large town hall gathering) called a liar by a disgruntled committee member during a 4 hour meeting. Ordinary doesn't really describe it. Mud sticks whether the information is right or wrong.
Ordinary Tuesday made way for AWESOME Wednesday.
An afternoon meeting at UNE began a conversation with Dave Schmude. Where he said to Paul "Any chance we can get you to Sydney tomorrow". Paul quickly replied "I'll already be there for an appointment in the morning". So his return flight was simply pushed back to later in the day so that not only could he catch up with his Mum and Dad but he could lap up a very cool moment provided by being the chairman of the Tourism committee. (The very same roll that had lead to ordinary Tuesday)
The University of New England will announce today that they will be a sponsor of the Parramatta Eels. The council have also allocated funds to promote Armidale.
So long story short. Paul met and had lunch with the CEO of the club along with others, but his very favourite part was meeting again the players of HIS team. Paul has been a Parra supporter for most his life I guess and loved watching players train at the oval near his home in Merrylands.

Delighted too Paul that God chose to bless you with this day. What fun!
Aah this is awesome. How amazing that you now have a formal connection with your team. I love the way God works out these surprise blessings. Great photos too.
