The Shaw's and Harmer's had a wonderful day together. We began by worshipping God together - giving thanks for sending Jesus to us.
Jefferson read extremely well and it was evident that he had spent much time rehearsing. Olivia sang with the worship team and did a beautiful job. It is lovely to see our family so connected the their church family.
We shared in a delicious hot lunch that left me with the perfect sense of Christmas indulgence, then unfortunately I ate some more!! Big mistake - now the Christmas sleepys kicked in a a little lie down was essential.
Capri spent ages playing in Erin's bedroom with dolls and kittens, sometimes by herself and at other times with her cousins. The big kids took on the wii. They looked good. Mum, Paul and I took on Bronte, a video captured my lack of skill and I hope will be lost forever!! But it was a laugh.
The afternoon was spent chatting, building gingerbread houses, and nibbling. Capri in particular put one lolly on the house and then one in her mouth. Today all Capri ate Chocolate coins and freckles, Cheese and Chips + one slice of Christmas ham.
Some how we found room for a lovely salad dinner before parting ways yet again.
Thank you family for a very special day.
