Never get tired of this view. Unfortunately our neighbour has taken out the outlet pipe that has been there for many years. It was to reduce the fullness of the lagoon but now it is struggling to keep water at all. This shot taken after over 100mm of rain, the very next day it had dropped considerably so lots of grass was visible.
Meet the gardening assistant. Other than her unusual habit of gardening in her underwear she really is very capable :) Here she sweeps back the mulch that a wayward chook messed up. Today it is hard to believe that we have had days worth of getting your gear off. Today I have on three layers and am still a little cold around the edges. Mind you Capri has on only a T-shirt and says she is not cold. Go figure.

Oh Mez, these shots are gorgeous. You have to get that outlet pipe back or put a plug in that lagoon. Those water views are stunning. Capri, you are beautiful. How lovely to help mummy in the garden.
