Bronte's Surprise Birthday Breakfast

This was Bronte's year for a party BUT she could not decide what she wanted to do! It was getting close and I decided to take matters into my own hands. We chatted about just having a family afternoon tea, and this became "the plan" but on the side I sent out invitations to her church friends to join us for a surprise breakfast. Dress - UNIFORM of course. It was a slightly out there idea as we needed to start by 7am to have everyone heading in the right direction by 8:30am. Which also meant Paul and I needed to be up well before that - 5:30am to be exact. Everyone arrived within minutes of each other and the fun and food began.
Capri as waitress! Dan took one, and the next thing I knew she had burst into tears.
Not sure why, I think she was a little overwhelmed by the attention.
Menu
Yogurt and fresh fruit.
White choc and macadamia friands
Bacon and cheese Puffs
Hot Options
Sausages and Bacon
Eggs Benedict of sorts

Loz was my order taker and assistant.

Bronte loved the buzz of a party at the start of the day.
She felt it made the day longer and better.
As a parent, knowing you have made a choice that brings delight is so wonderful.
This girl is special! She is made of good stuff!
We are truly blessed to be doing life with this beautiful young woman who loves God.
