thankful for God's provision.

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever.

God has provided all that I have needed over the past few weeks.
Right down to the little things.
Capri has been pesky to put to bed recently, with me in and out of her room for up to an hour. Last night I remember thinking I just don't think I can keep this up for another night. So tonight God provided a gift. I got an unexpected call to go and get Bronte from town. I left Capri in her highchair eating yogurt. When I returned 25mins later Capri was asleep in bed. Laura's comment "I told you I'm good, I do this for a living"
Anyway it was just what I needed.
