thankful for extra days with Laura.
The extra time meant that she could take on a project, which is always fun.
Laura was loving all the owls in Capri's room and so she used them (thankfully I had some small drawings of them) together on a branch to make a bag to take to preschool with her. She works there :)
Forgot to mention that Capri found the buttons and dropped most of them out the open window onto the grass below. Laura went out and found one, asked Capri to hold it tight, then blink to see it gone. Capri "i dropped it". But in my sewing room there are always options. The photo above shows original button eye choices, that were later replaced by better finds. Sorry no close up second time around.

This is very cute. What did you use to draw the owls? I have ordered some calico bags for Liv to do some prints on but I'd love to have a go at drawing something.
Just have to say, I love your blog and I love it when I see a new post flash up on the screen.
Love you,
You are a blessing Cuz.
Hey Ros,
We appliqued the owls on using fusible web on fabric and then hand stitch around the shapes.
