lionel - mark two

Capri has recently taken a shine to Paul's toy Lion. It was a gift to him at a similar age from his Grandmother when she came back from England. His mother was very disappointed one day when she discovered that a few alterations had been made. Paul had cut off the lions whiskers because they kept on sticking him in the face but compensated for this by giving him a little cheek colour with a red texta. It didn't take long for his Mum to appreciate the upgrade knowing that he really did love his Lion.
Mardi has renamed him Lionel after another beloved family Lion owned by Bethany. Beth took her Lionel lots of places and he was her firm favourite and bed companion. I remember many a time hearing "Has anyone seen Lionel?"
Capri has taken to the friendly animal and can even say his name, he watches TB with her, and does a number of other activities as well.
Note: the texta has all but disappeared and he is definitely not prickly - good job Dad.
