Well we have survived the first 24 hours. She was unsettled last night and this morning but has done great since about 10am. It is easy to carry her but awkward to nurse her off to sleep - hopefully we won't have to do that much and she will be back to getting herself off to sleep - she has done it once today :)
The other problem is staying asleep, this has not been a hassle before. She is crying as I type after only being in bed for 45min for her night sleep. Back in a bit.....
We need to sponge bath her each day and check her skin for spots where the harness might be rubbing - not as easy as it sounds and will be even harder as her rolls of fat grow. One day down.....

We are praying for Capri and you both during this time. Capri is so sweet and our hearts are going out to her as she has to become accustomed to this change. It is good you are taking it one day at a time and it will seem like a small crack in time when she is ten and running around with strong well placed limbs. Love ya.
