Monday the 31st of March - Paul and I both had the day off work which was nice, and we were happy to be sharing it with his folks. Bronte went to school (too much catch up to make wagging worth it) and sadly finished the day on a low. Paul was so lovely with her, listening to the story and getting her back to a positive place. When she finished her homework he took her down to the dam to fish.
A little while later I grabbed the camera and headed down, ...tried to capture a sweet little finch on the way and my batteries died. Note to self: always pay attention to the battery warning symbol. So i did not capture photo or video of Bronte reeling in her second fish single handedly OR the delight on her face. Poo.
Nevermind - That is just lfe as we know it.

You know what word comes to mind! So glad for the happy moment. Note to self - take spare battery (and card) everywhere!
