Organ Crawl

Well this was an interesting choice of activity for a Saturday afternoon, but mostly a very enjoyable one. If it hadn't been for the hour overtime it would have been pretty near perfect. A beautifully mild Autumn afternoon, beautiful churches, 200ish people, and a wide array of organs and music. We began at St Mary's Cathedral then walked down to the Ursuline Chapel, next St Peter's, then St Paul's and finally the Uniting Church. In hindsight Mum and I could have happily skipped the last stop - we were organ musiced out!!
Our favourite destination was the Ursuline Chapel as we were upstairs with the organ and accompanists. It felt like a private concert and we really loved the added sounds from the recorders and harp. Check us out in the little organ mirror.
