Had the privilege of being with my Mum on her birthday again this year.
We had lunch at Harvest NERAM (the art gallery) and then back home for cake and a cuppa and a few extra friends. Sadly the visit was only for a few days and they were soon off home again.
Mum, I always sense you doubt yourself,
your abilities and the love you show,
but there's something that you need to know...
Mum, you have always been to me,
everything I've ever needed,
love and joy, patience and friendship.
But Mum! It's not just me you see,
it's everyone along the way,
those you meet and bless in every day.
How blessed am I to call you Mum,
it's not so grand for some.
