tourists in our own town

August twenty eight, we became tourists in our own town. Paul is the Chairman for the Armidale Tourism committee. He had recently been encouraging those on the committee to take the time to go on the Heritage Tour that operates free to tourists most days from the visitors information centre. For this reason it seemed important that Paul too made the trip. The bus has recently been re-badged, and this made a suitable excuse for some media coverage. So, the photo was taken and so was the tour. It was a pleasant morning spent seeing the beauty of our town. I saw more of the outside of buildings especially where they had interesting things like stairs or even more exciting a slippery dip, like at the Anglican church.

Maybe it was Aug 28? We did that tour many years ago when Soph had set her heart on a ride in the trolley bus. He next event of interest was sky diving!!!
