Today was a little different.
Capri woke at about 6am, only the time had to be discovered from the mobile phone as we had NO power. While Capri was enjoying her instant breakfast, we thought about all that NO power meant.
We could have....
NO porridge
NO hot showers :(
NO air conditioner
NO fan on the wood fire
No under floor heating in bathrooms
NO TV babysitter for girls (that allows the little sleep in)
SO Capri got extra clothes and a trip to the play pen. Bronte got up collected Capri and then made the discovery - NO power. Put Capri back in the play pen and went back to bed to read.
We could ....
*have an early start with the day
*have an extra jumper on
*have Bacon and Eggs on the BBQ
*have boiling water in a saucepan for a hot cuppa
*have contact with Country Energy
*have warmth by sitting in the sunny spot.
*go back to bed if we were Bronte
We could have a slightly differnt Saturday morning that reminds us how blessed we are every morning.

brrriiiii - in lower case it looks more like how we say it and less like the typical brrr with !!!
So why was the power out????
Who knows really. They said that a pole was down somewhere??
