OK, so i didn't do this all this year. I started it last Easter and just finished it in the last few weeks. I still need to put all the layers together it is just a top. The angles do really weird things when you drape it over the bed - but I think we can live with it. Hopefully it will be finished VERY soon.
Still loving old paper - painted these two plain boxes red on the inside before gluing up the bigger box with a range of old paper from a growing collection of old books. Soon I will need a really BIG project to use a heap of it up!!
Bought a $7 Sloppy Joe (what is with that name) for Capri and added an owl. Still love a little Applique.
OK, so daggiest photo EVER!! But you get that when your a bit of a dag. Had this pattern for quite a while just waiting for a free moment. Made it while Capri was at Preschool. Best bit is - I LIKE IT.
I can't remember EVER doing ANYTHING for Valentines day but this year was a little different. I was inspired to DO something. So i made the little heart banner from old paper :) and a bit of scrapbooking paper to spread the love around plus Capri and I made heart shape biscuits that each of us girls put in individual cello bags with ribbon and took to work (for colleagues), preschool(for teachers) and school (for friends).
