Emerald Beach

Another great year has been spent at Emerald Beach. The weather was beautiful and it was the first year we have had no rain at all.
We had another few firsts
*the adults went to Saltwater restaurant for a lovely meal
*the big boys went deep sea fishing
*we discovered Moonee Beach
*and the park at Saphire Beach.

Bronte and her friends just can't get enough of the pool, swimming several times a day, anywhere from first thing in the morning through till the 9pm cut off time.
Capri just loves the water and will take it in any format. I bought a $3 itty bitty blow up pool from K-mart that we put on the veranda and filled up with a jug, Capri then climbed in and out of it while the adults read or chatted.
We had a couple of days on our own after our friends took off home. On Tuesday afternoon we made a trip to Moonee Beach, which I am not sure how to discribe. I think it must be a large inlet to the sea with large sandbanks, shallowish warm water and pretty views. Whatever, we all really liked it. We also checked out the new park at Saphire Beach which is part of a new subdivision which had great swings, slide etc, etc and a decent size flying fox.
