Sweet Discovery

My Dad took a visit to Bronte Island the other day and discovered this perfect little Willy Wag Tail's nest. Since then there has been several tours to see it first hand and also in the hope that may we might see the chicks. The eggs only take 14 days to hatch and then the babes stay in the nest for another 14 days. These birdies can have up to four clutches a year.

All around the dam looks a lot greener than at Christmas time. Cool nest.

I can't remember when it was last this green in summer. It really looks like the 'New England' - lush.
