On Friday afternoons we have junior high at our place, better know as BusStop because the kids get on at there schools and ride the bus together to our place. Our mission statement is from Matt 22. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength AND love one another" Well that is the basic gist. So we try to have a project each term that helps us to show love to someone else. This term everyone got knitting and here is our blanket. Thanks to Beryl from church who knitted lots of extra squares and sewed it together for us. Thanks to some enthusiastic knitters at church we are one square off the second blanket. Yeh. The blanket will go to a girl from Gulu in Uganda who was a child soldier in the LRA.
