It's holidays and Bronte was finally in the mood to do something. You have to do a lot of nothing before your ready for 'something'!! I will admit that she has been working so maybe that's why things have been a little slow to get moving :)
Anyway, the Stisters (Capri's pronunciation) headed off to the kitchen for some cooking fun. They were trialling a recipe from Lauren - Honey Jumbles - that became biscuits of many different shapes. Not all shown. It took then hours. Lots of kneading and rolling and kneading and cutting. Capri lasted for ages, only giving up when the biscuits went in the oven. Have to say that I'm not sorry that she didn't want to ice them too. It was lovely to hear them chat and enjoy the process.
Capri, Bronte, Mum, Dad, Mardi and Pa.
It should be noted that the following adjustments were made to the cookie cutter shape.
Capri (shorter), Bronte (narrower), Mum (cavernous belly button), Dad (wider), Mardi (normal) - that's a compliment, Pa (dicky shoulder)

Great stuff! This is something that Dapjne & I didn't ever do but seeing there were 8 in the house it's understandable.
