there's a salad in my garden.

Just loving being able to pick the basics for a salad from my garden. This is my first year for growing tomatoes and I when for the little Toms, which from a small single seedling has grown into a very health, massively sprawling tomato plant. The poor lettuce took a set back earlier in the season with a visit from the chooks, but they made a come back and are very tasty.  The wild rocket has grown like..... well a rocket and makes a salad OH so yummy. I added avocado, capsicum and orange segments and finishe with a yummy vinaigrette thanks to the new dressing/recipe container Mum gave me for Christmas.
The best bit by far was sharing it with the Bale's alongside Lauren's Mexican salsas, soft tacos and sensational BBQ fillings - YUM.
