Well these are not your typical birthday shots but it pretty accurately records this day. Capri was given the handkerchief skirt by Sheila, the sewing teacher and the lolly pop by the lady in the school shop - both birthday presents. She was also given a hand painted sarong from Sonia, another new friend. After a busy dirty day she stripped down for a birthday bucket bath looking out over the ocean, a little hard to pick from the photo. She then donned her birthday frock from Lauren and Rachael that had been purchased at Santo, I call it her special dress, we then all sung happy birthday and ate cake, also provide by the Bale girls'. Capri then had some girl time with McGracelyn and Bronte, eating a fresh bread bun from Norine's oven and blowing bubbles outside our dorm. These girls were really hard to photograph, but I really like this quirky one. Capri there may never be a birthday quite like this one, celebrated simply and happily at Ranwadi Churches of Christ College on Pentecost Island, Vanuatu.
